Why Was The Papal Audience Hall Building At The Vatican Constructed In The Shape Of A Giant Reptile?

Commissioned by Pope Paul VI in 1963, the Papal Audience Hall in Vatican City was inaugurated in 1971. But it doesn’t take you long to realize the whole thing, inside and outside, is a giant reptile.
